Upon carburizing, quenching, and tempering, 20MnCr5 develops a glass-hard, wear-resistant surface case (58–62 HRC) while preserving a remarkably tough, shock-absorbing ductile core (tensile strength 1000–1300 N/mm²). We maintain ready inventory in Bright Peeled & Turned (ISO h9/h11) condition for high-speed CNC gear hobbing and automotive turnings, as well as Hot Rolled and Forged Black Round Bars for heavy gear forging.
